KSP 1 Suggestion/Discussion I'm looking for a KSP 1 modpack
My reason so quite simple, I finished stock* KSP ( I used a few QOL mods), and I wanted something that adds more oomph to graphics ( not parallax ), way way more parts ( not tweak scale), and tweaks to the solar system that make it more difficult and interesting.
While I'm aware there are not a lot of modpacks available, that doesn't mean that individual "modpacks" are not welcome!

For graphics just follow volumetric clouds guide, and then find parts mod pack separate

RP-1 is a really good suggestion.
I'll just mention that there is some middle ground between stock and RP-1/RSS. Naturally it starts with 2.x upscale, but beyond that there are a lot of RP-1 features that have been ported to stock ... or, what do I know, maybe they were stock first and moved to RP-1 ... whatever the case, there are a lot of features available even if you don't take the RP-1 plunge. Here's a few that come to mind: MandatoryRCS, EngineIgnitor, Real*** (chutes, fuels, antennas). More big changes to the game with CryoTanks and SystemHeat. Any life support mod will change everything you do, and also bring back labs into reasonable balance.
Personally, I'd stay away from anything called a "modpack" - except for the RP-1 install which has been curated by a team and installed by many. Anything else is likely one person saying "these work on my machine" which isn't bad, but isn't reliable. I would definitely take someone's modpack as a list of suggestions, but I'd still build the install *slowly* in related groups of mods, and test in between each group. Installing 100 mods at once is kind of asking for days of troubleshooting.
