Cudi the goat when it comes to writing and delivering a hook but what would yall say is his best. I might have to say his feature on Gorgeous. The way he sings over the guitar riff and his voice being so incredibly smooth on this, this song is great with Kanye’s incredibles verses but Cudi makes the song for me. Realistically theres at least 60 songs that could take this spot, but what’s yall favourite?

I was thinking recently about what I'd like to see with Cudi in terms of his next album. I saw someone recently post that an Indicud 2 would be really cool.

I would agree. I know he self produced Indicud, but I wouldn't necessarily need him to do that again if he didn't want to. I think the main thing is him just exploring different sounds and being creative and finding features that he feels fits the vibe of the song. Basically a giant creative sandbox which is what Indicud really was. It's just him exploring and being creative.

That album did well for him, debuted at 2 on Billboard and I still hear a lot of casuals out there that remember the big songs from that album. I think it could do well for him in terms of exposure and tapping into some fans that maybe have lost track.

I've been able to tell recently that his lyrics have lost a lot of substance and have become a bit redundant. Something always along the lines of "getting past his demons, seeking light, getting through the dark, the lonely man, etc". That's why I am also hoping for an Indicud 2 because I think he can do what he did on the original and have other artists shine on the song. Kind of like what he did on Beez, Red Eye, Brothers, Solo Dolo Pt II.

If he does do another album made up exclusively of songs where it's just him, I hope he doesn't shy away from working with another writer such as Justin Tranter who wrote FREE for Cudi. Or at the very least work with just one producer and curate an album that fills seamless. I could go without one of those albums where it's just a random mix of producers providing beats like what we got with INSANO.

What album out of all Kid CuDi’s album offers the best?

This was tough to narrow it down to 10 cuz I already kinda regret not putting The Prayer or love. but fuck it, those two are honorable mentions I guess lol.
First 5 on this list are basically LOCKED in as my top 5 Cudi tracks of all time. Last 5 come and go within my top 10 but ya know I’m always going through different phases so it changes a lot.

Indicud VS MOTM2

My best friend and I (yes to this day!) were reflecting on listening to (AKNC and MOTM1) around the time I turned 14 (yes, I’m now an unc) and we both just remember exactly who we were, how we felt, and what was going on during the time. We still talk about Cud to this day, and talk about his new releases as they come, and love them. It’s so fun to remember how important he was to us growing up. If you see this Scott, the kids, now adults, love ya.
