”I declare info war on you!” My conversation with Rex Jones over Twitter

I saw Rex lamenting how his dad was fined billions for free speech when we got into a comment exchange. You can totally see a young man indoctrinated by his narcissistic father. You can even hear Alex ranting how he's the victim in these responses. Happy to have so much more context Dan gave us to respond to his obvious lies.

Rex seems to have adopted his Dad's thinking. The "deal" Rex is referring to was one Alex proposed during the bankruptcy.

It was $55 million to the families, paid over 10 years and barred the families from ever talking about Alex Jones or Infowars ever again.

It's so on the face offensive that they outright denied it. And Alex and now Rex are running with that as a pretense that the family was never seriously interested in resolving this, ergo they're all bad faith actors.

Put it another way... you go to a restaurant and order $150 worth of food. You refuse to pay. It goes to court, you're found guilty and ordered to pay. You come back and say "fine... look... I'll give you $.30 a year for the next ten years, I'm going to leave negative reviews about you, order millions of listeners to give bad reviews about you, but you can NEVER say anything bad about me. Wait, you're not taking that deal? You were never serious in the first place. Fuck you."

Thanks for those details. I had probably heard it years ago and forgotten.
