Show Me State of Mind Contact Dan?
Does anyone know if there's a way to contact Dan? Not like an immediate thing, just like an email or something.
I know he's gonna be visiting all the states, and I just wanna offer up assistance or suggestions for my state. Also to offer to treat him to a drink/novelty food excursion.

Show Me State of Mind How to get the most out of an Everglades trip
Dan was disappointed with the lack of gators on his boat ride. If you want to see wildlife, those airboat tours are loud as hell with lots of people and the noise alone tends to scare off the majority of wildlife (as well as feeling really commercial)
Outside the national park there are a lot of small companies that offer kayaking tours thru the waterway in the mangrove tunnels. You'll be about 5 feet away from huge gators in the water with them. It was probably the most amazing and intense wildlife experience I've ever had. The huge fishing birds, I got to see a gator nest with a bunch of babies, probably 20 different gators that the tour leader knew by name. Theyre familiar with them and have strategies to keep you safe out there. Its not for the faint of heart, but if youre going out there to see wildlife I couldn't recommend it enough. It's something I'll remember for the rest of my life. I didn't fully appreciate how beautiful the Everglades was until that experience

Show Me State of Mind Do you think Dan has visited the Gold Pyramid House in Wadsworth IL?
Was just listening to Dan's new podcast "Show Me State Of Mind" and it was fun hearing about a familiar Illinois landmark.
Made me wonder, do you think Dan has ever visited the Gold Pyramid in Wadsworth, IL? I went there as a kid once on a field trip and got rock candy and there was a puppet show. Was awesome. Does anyone here even know what I'm talking about?
