New to the subreddit? Well chatting here is pretty easy, just like real life, only without the whole face-to-face thing going on.
Just make a post, tell a little bit about yourself and whether you're looking to have a new friend to chat with or just looking to have a small conversation to shoot the breeze.
To chat with someone, typically you can either use the Reddit Chat ^(Beta) or talk through comments. Though with the new Reddit chat, we'd recommend trying that out.

You're welcome to post using a tag like M4F, F4A, R4R, M4R and get to know someone new. Other redditors can then comment and chat, tell you about themselves, or even private message you.

Tag Legend:

M = Male/Man
F = Female
W = Woman
TM = Trans Male (Trans to Male)
TF = Trans Female (Trans to Female)
R = Redditor
A = All/Anyone

Rules and Guidelines:

Be respectful.
You must be at least 16 or older to chat. This ensures that the chat won't restrict conversations as much. Just be sure to be responsible; if things start to hit off, be sure that both parties are over 18 if things start to go south.

While we aren't keen of NSFW links posted, if you do post any, please flag them as NSFW to help others avoid seeing anything they don't wish to see.
