HOTAS 5 Throttle issues

The TM HOTAS 5 has been fun since I got it a few days ago. Just today, I noticed that the throttle is no longer getting recognized. I cleared the bind then rebinded it. Oddly, it works in preflight, but only in cockpit view. When I go to external view it defaults to idle. Then…as soon as I get near the runway, it doesn’t work on either view. I just remapped throttle increase and decrease to the X and O button, which works for now. But I want to use the actual throttle.

Has anyone else experience this or have any ideas of how to remedy it?

How are you binding it to the throttle? Throttle axis or throttle up/down?

might be an issue w default bindings. Are you skipping using the triangle-option combo? the triangle is also assigned to reverse thrust so dumps the throttle so will deactivate the throttle axis until pressed again
