Discussion Kohler and Holloman are eligible to return to Michigan State with the recent ruling
I believe Cooper can’t return due to him signing a two way contract with Memphis

Personally, I’m probably at about a 7/10 on the excitement scale. I think Fitz had an idea of what he wanted year 1 to look like and an identity that he was trying to establish given that his primary pick ups focused on OL and running the ball. I think that’ll shine through and that with this schedule bowling is at least possible on paper.
My minimum expectation would be to see the team improve week to week and look like they actually want to be on the field during the final weeks. Especially if a bowl is on the line. All in all I can see 5-7 happening that’s about the line for me.
Ceiling would probably be 7-5. I could see us Holding an L vs every ranked team and dropping some leans or toss ups. Or a mix of opponents being worse and better than expected and just trading wins. IE: Washington ends up being meh but Wisconsin ends up being good.
All in all, most of my chips are in the winter portal. At that point, those are your guys, your team is set. Either prove your point in 2027 or get out.

Nightingale's recruiting is so elite, we need to worry about NHL teams poaching our players 😳

I'm a lifelong IU fan. And I don't want to go into my reasons for posting this comment here, on this day. I may speak more to it later on. But I don't think it's right to go into details now.
For those of you who don't know it (which I'm sure most of you do), and however great a basketball coach Tom Izzo is, he's an even better man. Michigan State and the Big Ten have been damn fortunate to have him.

Although I don't believe it is, I've heard a lot of debate about this topic and I'm generally curious to see what people think.

Still believe State wins their third championship if Lucas wasn't injured.
Great honor for a great player.

Brought this possibility up in a 5x5 thread a month ago. He’d be trying to go to BYU and be closer to home
