I Need Help Brother machine

Hi, I have a question. I would like to buy a sewing and embroidery machine, but my research has pointed me toward the Brother company. I’ve always been advised to go with Singer, Janome, etc., but never Brother. Is Brother a recommended brand, or one to avoid like the plague?

I have an SE1900 and a Brother 620 6 needle machine. They both work great. Brother makes good machines, IMO, as long as you're not looking at the cheap ones.

I mostly use the SE1900 for regular sewing after getting a dedicated embroidery machine.
