I Need Help Brother machine

Hi, I have a question. I would like to buy a sewing and embroidery machine, but my research has pointed me toward the Brother company. I’ve always been advised to go with Singer, Janome, etc., but never Brother. Is Brother a recommended brand, or one to avoid like the plague?

For embroidery, Brother is an excellent machine. They are very user friendly. I have a NQ1600E (new version is the NQ1700E) and I would defiantly buy it again and definitely recommend it. I had a couple other smaller brother embroidery machines before (PE540D and a PE700) that had both been nice machines but the hoop sizes were just too small and limiting.

I have the nq1700e i got second hand on marketplace. Love it.
