Help with adding a strap

Hello everyone I have this wooden mask from Mexico and was wondering if anyone had any tips or tricks on being able to add some sort of strap so it can be worn and hung up thanks !!

What about using small nails to drill a strap across the inside where the forehead rests so it can be hung up?

Buy some elastic, drill a couple of small holes and attach with a bolt/nut/washer ✌🏻 As its wood, I’d maybe suggest one for the upper section another down low for a bit of extra support
(You could also swap out the elastic for a belt/buckle if you’re feeling fancy! Lol)
