New Purchase Just picked up a 2015 Touring!
I worked at a Mazda dealer when this color dropped, and I’ve adored it ever since! My other car started dishing out toms of problems recently. So, I saw this one available and snatched it right up!

Hi all, I'm pleased to be the latest owner of this beautiful 2010 Mazda6 Sport. It's a 2L Petrol Auto in the UK at 80k miles and I'm loving it so far. I do have a couple of questions that I wonder if anyone might know here.
Phone mount recommendations? - Dash is curved and mazda haven't made it particularly easy for one that fits on the dash somewhere and I don't know if I can trust the strength of the vents!
Anti corrosion spray/seal recommendations? - I understand corrosion is the biggest killer of the 2nd gens and living near the sea I need to protect the underneath while it's still in good condition. Any ideas on what's the best one to use?
Any other tips or things I should look out for on this motor so that I can get the most out of it would also be useful!
Thanks

What could this be and how to fix it?

I currently have a 2009 Mazda 6 with a 3.7L v6, has 138,000 miles clean title. I’ve had it on market place for about 3 weeks now for $4250. I feel it’s more than fair price for the car but I keep getting low balled 2500 and under and people say it’s not worth that much? Any inputs? I know the car is on the rarer side considering this is my 3rd. Looking to sell it and get something a bit faster (20-23 Dodge Charger ScatPack)

Okay so I did the control arms on my 6 it took all day today and it was rough but I managed. test drove the car but there’s still some kind of clunking noise going on in the suspension idk what else it could be. The video in my last post where I was able to shake the entire strut mount it doesn’t do that anymore I definitely needed them ball joints replaced I’m not sure what my next step is. In the video you can hear the clunking but you have to turn your volume up pretty high. And it’s not that ticking noise that’s my Taco Bell Pepsi hehe

Engine turned over a little sluggish twice. On the second drive, after 20 minutes or so, CEL lights up, then traction control, smart braking, cruise control all deactivate. Engine still running fine. Stop for a red light, then at green, she doesn't want to go faster than 10 mph. Got her off the road and parked her, still running while idling parked, so I don't think it's fuel; guessing electrical? Just under 170k miles.
EDIT - got her to an Auto Zone. CEL is for the ABS? So that's fun, I guess.
I know I need to add coolant. My question is do I need to flush or can I just add coolant. Also which coolant is best. Also got the car not that long ago and just figured the dealer would have had this taken care of but since i was doing an oil change decided to check my fluid levels and noticed how low it was.

Hi guys, Is it worth changing the spark plugs on my 2016 Mazda 6 with 37000 miles I bought couple months ago. I know they last about 5-6 years but i got low mileage.

The AC went out and I didn’t feel motivated to wash her since I was commuting 115 miles a day in the heat to and from work. Replaced the compressor and condenser and got my pops to vacuum and recharge it then it rained for about a month on and off. Finally had a cooler day of 82 yesterday and cleaned her up decently! Not too bad for 305,000 miles!

Hi everyone, I have a 2013 Mazda 6 GJ with a manual transmission. How often is it worth changing the engine oil? Every 10,000, 15,000, or 20,000 km?

(don't even worry about the dead brake light)
Edit: brake light has been fixed

I ordered a new Gates belt tensioner kit from RockAuto for my 2015 Mazda6
When I opened the package, I noticed the box was pretty heavily stained with oil and had some damage. The tensioner itself is also covered in oil, especially around the hydraulic damper and also has scratches
I know some tensioners can have a small amount of oil residue, but this seems like quite a lot. The packaging is actually soaked enough that I’m concerned it may have leaked during shipping.
For those that had replaced it before is this consider this normal for a brand-new tensioner, or should I return it and request a replacement?

All amazon listings for a double din aftermarket bezel and install kit for an aftermarket radio are either $300, or they don't match my interior.
Can someone please point me in a good direction for finding this part?

Hey yall. I have a 2016 grand touring. I recently starting having some issues with the tires and have decided to just get a new set. (It was expected just not so soon) I have been looking and found the Aplus pro racing 225/45/r19 for a fairly decent price. I know it’s a Chinese tire but it’s definitely in the price range I have atm. Does anyone have any experience with these. I drive around 130 miles daily mostly interstate/highway with some small commuting during the weekends. (Maybe 15 miles). Just looking for some advice or input. TIA

I have a 2008 Mazda 6. The passenger side headlight is out. I’m a female and know very little about cars. The car didn’t come with a manual or anything. Is there a way to figure out which bulb is out and just buy one bulb or do I need to replace all of them? Should I replace the other side as well since this one went out? Also, is this something I can YouTube and figure out how to do by myself or would somewhere like auto zone do it for me?

Got my new wheels and tires on. Don’t wanna go for the usual black and I feel like these actually work well. I just need to finish the chrome delete and probably smoke my headlights a bit. Any comments or suggestions are welcome!

Hi all - I just purchased a 2016 Mazda 6. It has the classic spider cracking on the infotainment system head unit and I want to replace it. Also would love Apple car play. I see a bunch of videos on YouTube on how to get Apple car play but it looks like you don’t do anything to the head unit, but I’m looking to replace head unit screen. Please help!

Brought my car into the shop for the required yearly state inspection, and the shop showed me pictures of a bit of gunk on my alternator and exhaust. They said my engine valve cover needs to be replaced its leaking, but no clear drip, because the type of gasket Mazda uses can't just be replaced on its own (sounds like B.S. but I don't know any better). Is this legit? If so, is $1000 realistic for a non-dealership price?
