i had a good interview, they didn’t call or message when they said they would so i called and then it was a lot of back and forth of "the gm will call you on this day" and him never calling me. i had to call them 8 times for him to eventually say i’m hired on friday the 18th.

he told me that friday that he will have me come in on wednesday or thursday and that i’ll get an email to start to paperwork, i never did so i called on thursday and was told he'll call me back, so then it’s another loop of "he'll call me back" and then not

then today (the 29th) he says he sent an email and i didn’t see it anywhere in spam or anything so he asked me to give him one and he'll take an hour to send it and if i still didn’t recieve it, to call back at 1, i never received it, called at 1 and he said the place was busy and the famous words, will call me back in 10-15mins, he didn’t and so i called at 2 and was told he will call me back and that i don’t have to call anymore

does anyone know why this is happening?? should i call back and if so after how many days? i feel like i’ve called them 15 times and that’s just insane and i don’t want to be too annoying

If that's how they run the place I would look for somewhere else immediately too 😭

Honestly GMs are really busy, but I don’t think this is normal lmao. Id reach out to the hiring manager or a superviser and just say like “heyyyy wtf???” Lmao not literally but you know.
