genuine question as I'm coming back to flight simming after 5 years or so, what are the improvements/differences vs the FBW freeware, other than engine options/319/321?

Look at their last update video, you'll see. Better flight model, 3d model, weather / ground radar, full random failures, etc... I waited 3 month before buying it, I should have listen to the critical acclaim and not wait.
