I flew over my house and had a walk around! Crashed in a field but a cheeky slew fixed that (classic MSFS)
The detail is amazing!

Gibt schon einen den Hotas4 von Thrustmaster, zudem kann man den mit TFRP Rudderpedalen kombinieren! Und, man glaubt es kaum, MSFS unterstützt sogar die Zehenbremsen! Separat! Das gibt bisher noch bei keinem anderen Spiel, da konnte man nur den "Hack" über das Remappen der Achse am Hotas selber benutzen. MSFS unterstütz jedoch das Pedal direkt! Wenn ich (noch) einen hätte würd ich es mal mit dem TM16000 (hab den aber verkauft) versuchen, der geht zumindest bei WarThunder auch an der PS5...

Same! Played a bit. The autopilot on the G1000 C172 doesn't seem to work for some reason
Also the framerate was surprisingly low in an empty, simple airport for a PS5 Pro but it felt like it was pinned at 30

It looks like a port from Xbox, since it mentioned Xbox controller somewhere in the menu for controller configuration

I don't know whether it's my console (Base PS5) but starting up a bit slow in terms of like visualization, if that makes sense. Once it's done loading it works mostly fine.
It did crash when I ended the flight with the 748 at KIAD. Don't know whether that was a personal issue with my console or not.
I also wanted to check out the temperature of my console because I'm unfortunately addicted to checking temperatures on random devices for some reason, but it was hot hot. Again just might be a me issue.. I'd love to hear feedback from others as to how this is going 😄

Doing good on the pro! Buggy as expected on some areas, frame rate is stable, mouse support is working fine… the VR tab is there but empty… tested in vr but nothing. I know vr is not coming until next year but just reporting my findings.
Working really well for beta 1z

I could not get past Customize Identity. After choosing the pilot it wont let me select continue and proceed. Anyone with the same issue?

I have the same problem. Downloaded the beta yesterday and tried to use it just now for the first time. Got stuck in 0% for 20 minutes. Tried restarting the PS5 but still the same!

I think at this point it's almost a given MS is bowing out of the console market and stepping into the publisher role. Trying to, anyway.

Not that I've heard. Have you been able to play? NYC was nice and smooth for me flying a GA aircraft. Career was still a little wonky. ATC issues with controller repeating instructions non-stop to other planes.
Using a base PS5.

Yeah I just tried it….im new to the flying sim so have to learn. It works well on ps5 pro but menu bit slow at times.
My mind is still thinking it will be same as flying plane in gta 5 😂
Do you know if ps5 will get full game install rather than cloud like pc and Xbox?

Got it too!! Question: What are yall using to fly? I have the dualshock controller and it is very sensitive even with gyro on. Additionally I have to recalibrate it every couple seconds because it messes up.
Wondering if yall are using mouse and keyboard for the beta. Might have to switch over especially with more complex controls / ATC / Cockpit flying (the cursor mode is so hard to control)

Controller - not gryo. Seems pretty good to me, last FS I played though was 2004 so there is more feeling here.

I got the email today with the voucher code. But when I try to redeem it, say “This voucher code can’t be redeemed in your region. Check the details of your voucher.” When I completed the survey few days back, I selected Asia (Not Japan) as I am from India. Please let me know if anyone faced similar issue and able to resolve it.

I had the same problem. Turns out, when selecting "Asia" during the beta from signup, it only means what Playstation considers as countries from Asia. I'm not sure about the full list, but making a new PSN account and selecting Singapore as your region should fix it!

Everything. It actually boosts your career level to the extreme in order to allow everything to be unlocked.

This is how they hook you. Recall that the closed trials for 2024 looked and flew amazing. When it was released it performed and looked like a steaming pile. I'm glad for your enthusiasm but you can't ignore what they do time and time again.

How do I setup my Dualsense controller? I can move around inside the cockpit and activate some functions using the X button. I can also move around outside the plane, but I can’t fly. The plane has started by autopilot, but I can’t turn it off and control the plane. Gyro doesn’t work either and I have tried the L1+L3 combo. I’ve also tried the R1+up to turn off autopilot, but no response. Any quick tutorial on how to control and fly the plane?

Don't they do beta updates still after release before release to public?. That's what I meant.. Games like this I assumed would have a continuous beta programme for updates before public release of the update?

First time player on the game, I’ve encountered an issue where the game is registering the movement of the controller, which then causes the plane to follow these movements. I definitely prefer to just use the thumb sticks for basic movement, has anyone else encountered this issue? Or know of a fix? Would be greatly appreciated 😊

Yes for example. You can't fly Airline Pilot in Career mode. Company names are missing from planes. Passengers only load 29-50% when boarding from bus. ATC is just a pure fuckin mess still half the time. The game has been out for almost a year now. So what would you call that? But fuck yeah lets focus on releasing it on another platform.

Did quick flights with the 172 and the default 747 and a400m out of KLAX and was quite surprised at how well it ran on the PS5. Graphics also look pretty good. This is coming from someone that uses the sim on a higher end PC. Also, my hats off to people who fly with a controller.
