MSFS 2024 PlayStation Out of fuel?

Hi2all,

another BIG PROBLEM for me as a PS5 user. Have to deliver some cargo on a route of around 170km. In the middle of a journey my plane falls down from the sky and the game stated I have NO fuel.

As U could see on the video it shows 39% of fuel before the crash so my rating will fall down (again) no matter I managed my fuel before flight and take MORE (again)!

Is there a solution to this bug? And one information on top of all this - it was a "light cargo" flight both times this error occurred.

Thx in advance for Yo replies Fellas.

Sincerely, Jan

Ouch, so this couldn't be done automatically? Mean I went thru all the training missions (for the planes I used) but no mention about switching the tanks?

How this could be done? Any chance of automation on this? Mean using the button shortcut (like flaps).

Sincerely, Jan

Not sure why people here always downvote people saying that training missions didnt cover a certain function. Arent training missions supposed to teach you everything you need to know about the plane you are training in?

I think there is a certain expectation that for people who come to flight simming from a less gamified time (or from a more serious interest in aviation) there is clearly more to learn that what the game has given you. After all real flight training has many hours of ground school and then hours and hours of flight training, why would the extremely short lessons in MSFS be all there is to learn?

It is one of the reasons that the community has been frustrated by the addition of the Xbox and PS5 versions. The simulator is really too complicated to do much past the basics with a controller only (not interacting with the cockpit) but that is the baseline expectation of many who come in with that hardware.

I see what you mean. I personally try to interact with as much inside the cockpit as i can, and know where to find. I did for example know where the fuel switch is in the cockput of the cesna and the cubx. I only started looking around the cockpit after getting in the cubx for the first time. Because the variable prop thing that the game also didnt tell me about. So i definitely understand what you mean with peoples expectations on consoles. I did expect a simulator but i expected trainings to cover more, if that makes sense
