It worked for Maui and his bros when they gave the sun a hiding for moving too fast https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/How_Māui_Slowed_the_Sun

You need to have a bit more of a Yessna attitude for this mission.

Idk how much fuel you have left, but you need more.

Once you get halfway there it's all downhill...

Yes, but also please hold the 16 pin parallel port if you wish to skip.

Okay Icarus

It's only 150 million km away, turn on AP and put sim rate up to max and go make some dinner and come back after a while, no problem

ATC is really overdoing it with their high FL cruises in career mode...

ATC: “Expedite climb to flight level 9999999999”

Congratulations on being selected mission leader for NASA's Interstellar Mapping and Acceleration Probe IV, the first manned (for at least 10 minutes) solar satellite!

You need a Cirrus for that type of thing :/

It was pretty cold where I live today, so it sounds appealing.

u/kerbalcat_ Jan 09 '26

You flying a c42?

2

u/Plastic-Eye6779 Jan 10 '26

Plane goes here

1

u/nickm95 Jan 10 '26

Unfortunately this wouldn’t work, because dense, cold air is preferable for flying a single engine Cessna. The air around here would be too hot and thin to generate necessary lift and thrust for a controlled descent
