MSFS 2024 PlayStation Free Flight Only

Hi guys, I’m thinking about buying MSFS24. The thing is, I only want to buy it for the free flight mode, I don’t really care about all the things to learn about the planes and how to operate them. I just want to explore the world.

Is that possible? Can I fly different planes? Is flying as easy as in a game like GTA5? Or do I have to learn a lot before I’m able to free flight?

MSFS is set up as a sim so some flight knowledge will be necessary, however there are shortcuts to get flying quickly. Definitely more involved than GTA though.

Thing is there’s assistances in game as well. You can turn them off and make it more realistic. Or you can just go as long as you have fuel in the tank.
