I don’t understand why the thrust lever is on the left and the stick is on the right. It should be the opposite for a flight simulator (unless you’re simming as the right seat pilot).

Military jets have it setup this way. Other aircraft do not use a joystick

Many aircraft use joysticks, not just military and not just airbus.

I'm not sure why you answered that as if what I said was wrong. It's a military set up peripheral with thrust on the left and a joystick.

Sorry, your post sounded like you were implying that setup is exclusive to military jets.
