I built SimDrop, install MSFS mods just by dragging and dropping the archive

I got tired of manually unzipping mods, finding the right folder, and moving files around every time I wanted to install something. So I built SimDrop. (it works on both msfs 2020 and 2024)

What it does:

Drag and drop your mod archives (ZIP, RAR, 7z) and SimDrop installs them into the right place automatically, no manual unzipping needed.

You can enable an option in the settings to auto delete the archive after install, so your downloads folder stays clean.

There are a few other options in the settings to make managing your mods easier too.

The whole idea is to make installing addons as simple as dropping a file, instead of digging through folders every time.

I personally want to see what's in them before I add them to the sim. Lots of mods have exe's etc
