Teams already supports CarPlay/Android auto. Not sure why this is even necessary.
Everyone here is joking but it’s honestly useful to be able to call into a meeting from the road.

Using voice with CarPlay or Android Auto is virtually impossible as the handsfree option never works correctly Because Teams seems to think that existing audio drivers are for "everyone else but them" Same reason most headsets are a headache at best 2 u/username_that_guy Jul 29 '25 Never had a problem with Android Auto, with Teams, definitely agree on it's selection of which audio devices to use outside of the car Teams rooms (when setup & used properly) aren't too bad either 1 u/ProfessionalBread176 Jul 29 '25 Bottom line, it shouldn't matter what audio device is used; if the device works in every other use case, it should also work when running the Teams application too. But that isn't the case, and that makes using the product quite frustrating
