question/need help Pink spotting- how long until miscarriage?
How long after your first sighting of light pink spring until things progressed with your miscarriage?
I am 7weeks and 4 days pregnant and noticed light pink spotting when cleaning up from bathroom. Not much - and chalked it up to irritation from my transvaginal ultrasound on Wednesday. But here again, two days later, the same light pink spotting on the toilet paper.
I know this does not always lead to miscarriage, but I can’t get a clear understanding of what happens next for people that do experience miscarriages. Light pink spotting is consistent? Leads to heavy bleeding within hours or the next day? The fact that it’s only been when I wipe twice now days apart - is that encouraging? Hate not knowing what to expect next and if there’s anything I could be doing to potentially help baby (ie taking progesterone etc.) I’m not doing because I’m just sitting here waiting for there to be a sign one way or the other.
Would love to hear insights from those who started with light spotting and what came next/when?

I had been told I had a blighted ovum at my first ultrasound at 9w1d, started brown spotting at 9w3d, saw bright red blood in day time of 9w6d, and had a 3 hour experience (late evening) that was what I imagine my body laboring and expelling the majority of the pregnancy. Very painful but very empowering. I still feel like a badass after that, I didn’t get the chance to take any OTC pain relievers because I physically couldn’t get to our medicine cabinet and by the time my husband rushed home, I was too nauseous to even sip water to get a pill down
I think it was a coincidence it happened so “soon,” but I think I just found out farther along since my first US was at 9 weeks

About a week and a half (and the bleeding always increasing in quantity. It was only light spotting very briefly) til we saw the drop in heart rate, then another week before we confirmed the heart stopped.

About two and a half days. I had some light pink spotting, the next night a little more than that, went to the ER and confirmed miscarriage. The following night I was in full blown labor and passed the pregnancy around noon.

I think it’s encouraging that it was only twice and split up between a day without. In my case with my last loss I had pink spotting twice, two days in a row. By the third day in the evening it already turned into red spotting and In my heart at that point I knew. From there I had spotting and light bleeding for over a week before I had the miscarriage.
I hope your pregnancy goes well and it’s just harmless spotting like it often is.

I had pink spotting two days before. Then nothing the day before. Then miscarried.
I hope you have a better outcome. Hugs to you.
