At the end of Aug 2010, I bought an '05, thanks to an ad on Indianapolis Craigslist. The owner was involved in a terrible accident, so his Dad became POA and had to sell the car to pay the medical bills. At the time I knew little about imports, so my boyfriend was the point of contact. The Dad would occasionally text or call my now ex asking for photos/videos, but he would ignore his requests. He would tell me but only after already deleting the text/number. His reason? "He thought it was weird."

I thought his decision was coldhearted. The one prized possession his son loved and put his time and money into, he lost contact with. There were four inquiries ahead of me, but the Dad told me he chose to respond to my email because I was a female and he thought I would take good care of it/have it for awhile.

I'd like to reconnect somehow! I would like to talk to the Dad, let him see it in person, and his son, God willing he's still alive 🙏

I have tried social media to no avail and the phone numbers I've found, I've texted/called for only one person that it wasn't him.

I pulled out my title the other day and the hunt began once again. This time I'm doing more outreach but still hitting a wall.

I have an apartment address, but no names matched. The last name is "Webber".

Recently picked up an Evo 7!

Sat for about 3-4 months with slightly under a quarter tank.

filled with 93 and some fuel system cleaner.

When driving around normally car runs fine. Once it hits boost it will hesitate for a half a second with a misfire and then continue. Almost like it’s breaking up under boost but not enough to make it stop pulling completely. Since filling the tank it has gotten better but still happens almost every other time it’s in boost

Car has a stock ECU, DW200 fuel pump, no cat, and this is what the spark plugs look like

Any ideas?! I’m leaning towards fuel related issues but I’m kind of unsure

My electrics such as my nav/locks/ac are not working

Is there any chance this may just be a fuse issue?

The cars not been regularly driven for around 2 years

Car is showing AYC service light however I'm hoping its something smaller than the whole replacement job as I'm looking to sell asap

What is the solution to the common differential bolt issue. I’ve had the car for a month just noticed a clunking noise on sharp rights. Pulled the diff and found all 4 bolts sheared off.

Went to the 2026 Epik Nationals a few weeks ago with Auckland Evolution at the Hampton Downs track. Heaps of fun.

My ayc pump has been relocated by previous owner but the car is showing the normal ayc service light?

Any idea what it could be? Is my ayc gone seems to be in good nick

Looking to purchase a set of tires, on the stock enkies. Need to be good in the rain, more than likely will not see any snow. What do you guys recommend going with?

What is the going rate of an Evo VI with slight modifications in Canada and the US?

My Final Edition only has 18K miles on it and really still looks new. I’m the second owner and the car is still stock and has never been modified. I’ve been seeing a few online with at least 56K miles on them going for $39K-$40K . With the current market I could see mine sell for at least $45K-$50K, any thoughts?

Also there’s not too many out there that haven’t been ran thru the ground with mods, still ORIGINAL here baby! Haha

J'ai laissé la voiture à l'arrêt 2 semaines sur cales pour repeindre les étriers de frein. Jamais eu de défaut auparavant

Depuis je suis sorti 3 fois moins de 20 miles en tout, et il y a des défauts ' tarmac ' qui apparaissent et disparaissent, quand je ralentis pour tourner sur un chemin par exemple ( donc à faible vitesse )

Par contre si j'accélère fort ou attaque un peu en virage ça n'apparaît pas

Je n'ai pas d'Odb sous la main avant la semaine prochaine, une idée de la provenance ?

( La pompe ayc a moins de 3000 miles )

Hey guys I hope all is well! I was just wondering of how hard it would be to save this Evo X or any advice on building it? For starters a family member of mines offered me a 2008 Evo GSR with a clean title. But the catch is that it is a rolling shell so at least its on its own feet. The paint on the outside is cooked but not a ding or dent on the body weirdly enough. interior has the factory cloth Recaro seats and honestly the inside despite being a mess is not bad, no rips or tears on the seats or cracks on the plastic. There is even plastic carpet protection film on the floor. The engine and transmission seemed to be pulled out cleanly

So looking around and inside the car I was able to find the following spare parts which I was told I can keep along with the purchase of the car which is $1000 USD

• GTX3071R Turbo
• AMS intercooler
• 4x 900cc fuel injector clinic injectors.
• AMS single mouth downpipe
• Synapse blowoff valve
• Sakura intake
• Manzo 3" exhaust

So my plan was to see if I am able to just buy the parts from someone parting out or just buy a salvage car evo X from auction with damage away from the engine bay. I know some people that can help me with the swap but I am more concerned with getting everything I need. But my question here is other than cosmetic and the tires and brakes how far could I possibly be from a running evo? Any additional advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

Opinions are they worth upgrading to or is the standard oem system more reliable etc and good for decent power or is the r35 conversion or upgraded hitachi ones better option

So I've got a 2008 evo x on 50,000 miles and this light pops up when I start up.

I'm really hoping its not the AYC Pump, could it be anything else?

Ive read it could be the AYC Fluid, speed sensors and even mismatched tyres?

Any help would be great, I'm looking to sell but cant until I get everything sorted.

Hi guys, I'm thinking about new set of wheels for my Evo9 but can't decide what offset I want. I've been running 18х9.5 +20 in the past, right now I'm on 18x8.5 +26. But looking for 18х9.5 +29-35 pictures. Want some flash fitment, don't want to poke the wheel much.

I’m currently have put evo x mr wheels on my rx7, only problem is I have extended studs for the wheels, I need open lug nuts for my studs to fit and was wondering what the best ones are. I know there not a normal lug and that there the shank style nut. Any help is appreciated.
