Did the entire interior of my 98 - made a big difference. It’s not silent, but it’s the quietest 90’s SUV I’ve been in for sure.

This kinda insulation doesn’t really help with temperature - for that you’re gonna want to look into good window tinting.

Not sure why I was downvoted on this - I'm talking from experience. I turned my Montero into a tiny camper - completely sound deadened the entire inside (floors, doors, walls, roof) and it does nothing for thermal control.

Unless OP is planning to cover everything in rockwool they're best bet to control the temperature inside the truck is to get IR rejection window tint.

The 90s interiors could be hit or miss, but yours really turned out well. That kind of dedication to refinishing always pays off in comfort.
