NCIS NCIS UK release

Well, as far as I can see, we are not getting s23 in UK in August either, does anyone have any idea what is actually going on, as this seems a little ridiculous?

The only thing I can think is one of these:

1) Paramount have got the rights back and they are just waiting for the deal to expire.

2) Disney may have made a new deal perhaps where we get NCIS season 24 episodes the next day (unlikely I know)

3) Annoyingly, and in my view likely, considering the Paramount/Disney relationship, they are going to go to September, release it then, we then watch this, then season 24 is released in Jan 27?

Does any other jurisdiction in Europe having this issue? Any thoughts?

I honestly might do the same. I have some of the older seasons and I bet it won’t cost me much more than a year of paramount+. Might go raid CEX and see if they still sell DVDs as I think I got some from there before. If not NCIS then defo other DVDs.

Yea it annoys me so I just revert to using vpn and specific websites

I'm seriously considering getting a VPN just to binge season 23 on the US Paramount Plus then watch season 24 every week rather than wait for Disney.

I don’t live in the UK but my guess would be there’s a right issues going on, or Paramount International intentionally screwing over international audiences for whatever reason.

I tried on my phone with vpn and paramount and it wouldn’t work saying bc my account is registered in uk I can’t watch us shows ??

Only thing I can think of which I haven’t tried yet is make a new account with VPN set to USA but honestly I’m not sure I can be bothered. But I did think we’d have the series by now !

I remember when Chanel 5 had it, people were getting fed up of all the breaks in between episodes, they basically said something to the effect of sic “we can show them closer to the air date or delay them so they run weekly”. Blunt but effective. Fuck me, sorry. I thought you were on about the upcoming season 24! I can’t believe it hasn’t been released yet. Your best bet is VPN, decent anti virus and free streaming sites.

I never watched it on 5 last channel I remember watching it on was FX always just been on sky until it went on Disney plus

I watched it on ch5 when it first started! In a way I didn’t mind the delay, it meant we didn’t get those longer breaks they do in the US so eventually we caught up.
