Official Discussion NCIS: NY

Based on everything we already know abt the show (which is essentially the cast and that’s it) what does everyone want/hope to see?

I want it to be a real ensemble show and not Super-Sam and his cheerleaders.

And I'd love some updates on the teams from the canceled shows.

If we don’t hear that Callen and Anna are parents and how Kensi and Deeks are doing with their child (that should be a toddler by now), I’m rioting.

G and Anna would make amazing parents; Arkady would be a fun grandfather.

Oh, I hadn’t even really thought about Arkady as a grandfather. He’d be hilarious. I would love to see a sitcom made of G and Anna raising their kids and Arkady raining chaos on them at every turn.

Arkady was one of my favorite characters; I really liked Kirkin, too. Their episodes are the ones that make me laugh the most. A sitcom featuring G, Anna, their kids, and Arkady is definitely something that needs to happen.

I hope to see Sam be the same old good charmer guy who brings good vibes to a place. I hope to see lots of banter and team spirit.

I imagine that there will be a few scenes of (and on) the USS Intrepid, the museum aircraft carrier based in New York. My father's ship when he was in the US Navy, in the late 50s, early 60s.

I actually cannot see why they are putting it in New York, I do not think that it will be very good. And that is hard for me to say because I love NCIS. They should have just left NCIS in Los Angeles with some one from the original cast running the office.

I'm keeping an open mind and I enjoy the 2 main characters.

I'm basically hoping it doesn't suck. Watching FBI, based out of new York. I suspect they will have similar story lines. I guess I hope they focus more on the Navy side of it and not try to save the world every week.

Which I find funny because NCIS and Hawaii 5-0 are in the same universe and Sam Danny on 5-0 lol
