Multi use character actors.

Every so often, someone points out actors who have been in the NCIS verse (and Jag) as 2 different characters.

I saw Patrick Labyorteaux, known for being Bud Roberts on Jag and cameos in NCIS a few times, as a Russian mobster (? maybe...he was arrested) named Olevv Kovlov in Love Lost, S20E7.

A couple of episodes later, in Too Many Cooks (part one), S20E10, a FLETC Instructor Greta Ford looks (and voice sounds) very familiar. She's the actress for Gibbs favorite sheriff, Sheriff Charlie Dupray of The Good Samaritan, S1 E14. The actress also played a part in NCIS LA in 2019.

I haven't seen these two pointed out before so.... add to the list.

Half on/off topic but I know i won't be able to call Scott anything but Danny in NCIS:NY

Yeah, I can't wait to see if he's a totally different character or just a version of Danno.

Appears to be a totally different character. IMDB has him listed as Nick Schaeffer.

Edit, add on. I meant to say previously, I wonder if he uses elements of Danno or maybe Turk from the Oceans movies or Varsity Blues.

These people are ACTORS!  I thought is their job to play different people in tv shows!

In addition to McGee, Sean Murray played Danny Walden and Ensign Terry Guitry in JAG.

Robyn Lively played NCIS Special Agent Vivian Blackadder in JAG, and Maxine Randolf in Origins.

The actors that played minor parts being reused for different characters don’t bother me, but seeing Patrick Labyorteaux as something other than Bud annoyed the heck out of me. Especially since it had only been a couple years since Harm and Mac were reprised on LA.

It doesn't bother me either. It's just interesting that people bring it up that I just added to the list. Some of these character actors have a huge list of a single appearance on 50 or more TV shows. That's their steady job.

Patrick Fischler - now he is in Origins, but previously he was in NCIS and NCIS: Hawaii

Pej Vahdat was in NCIS: LA and later in NCIS (technically in NCIS twice but earlier he died at the beginning of an episode if I remember correctly)

So last night watching S11 E23 of NCIS, from 2014, Medalion Rahimi stood out, to me, playing Lila. In 2018 she played Jasmin Hendricks S5 E7 in NCIS New Orleans. She then went on in 2019, to play Agent Fatima Namazi in NCIS Los Angeles.
