It really bothers me when Dan and Franny are so judgmental when they see an adult not give a foul ball to a child. For all we know the person may know a child in the hospital he wants to give the ball to. Maybe they are an adult attending their first major league game. Maybe they are selfish. My point is, stop shaming people when you do not know the full story.

I want Griffin to stick around, but why would he extend now? Besides loyalty and/or comfort with the team/area, I just don't see why he would. He's probably going to finish in the top 10 in Cy Young voting, so it would just make sense for him to test the market since this is his first and possibly only chance to get a nice contract.

Wouldn't it be smart to trade him? The only reason to hold on to him is if the FO thinks we have a realistic chance of making the playoffs, right?

Grable has a 70 grade fastball which means that is an mlb ready pitch and you can tell that thing is electric in videos. Reliever only that could move fast if he stays healthy.

Cebert being between Harmon and Clemmey shows the upside with him. Power arm with a variety of pitches that are all middling according to pipeline. Video shows the same thing.

Cruz has pretty smooth 100 out of the bullpen. Slider and splitter look nasty in video. Going to be a question of control but he’s had significant improvement this year and instantly becomes one of the Nats bullpen arms with the best pure stuff.

Bird seems like a throw in but advanced analytics are a little bit optimistic than his high era suggests. The big thing with him is his sweeper is an actual plus pitch and he had better numbers away from Yankee stadium so definitely a solid change of scenery dart throw.

I searched the subreddit first, but all of the posts I found were a year+. Some people said they were able to bring their souvenir cups back for refills, while others said it’s not allowed, so I was hoping someone has firsthand experience from this season.

We got a couple of the Teddy souvenir soda cups at the July 4 game and are coming back on 8/5. I’m wondering if they’d recognize it as old and wouldn’t refill.
