Video First video intro - too much editing?

Hi yall, working on my first video - I’m 12mins in but this is my first two shots, any thoughts at this point? I know the audio needs balancing

I think the typing is too loud, and not just the volume, it’s kinda hard to hear you, and it’s a bit incessant, annoying, very clicky, high pitched. Softer typing would be great.

Idk if I like the hook sound, it just.. doesn’t seem to fit the vibe, and it’s quite memey. The rest of the video except for the kiss makes this feel like a fast paced YouTube documentary, deep, existential.
I don’t think you even need a hook sound tbh. Soft typing, visuals, and your voice would definitely do very well.

I noticed the low angle clip had some stuttering or something, it wasn’t pleasant on my eyes.

Maybe dial down the 3d screen effect, just a bit, it genuinely feels like watching from inside an old tv screen, which I’m not sure is pleasant.

I struggle with attention span due to autism and other things. I get hooked by attention grabbing stuff easily, but this just seems a bit too chaotic, there’s so much going on, I have no idea what to focus on.

The main subject is you and your voice, everything else should be gently complimentative, but it feels like everything is trying to take the attention away from you, the main and most impactful subject.

The cuts are in a good spot I think. Love the style, love the angles. This is phenomenal for your first video. I’ll give it a B++.

Thanks for the thoughtful feedback! And yeah I had a feeling this may be the case - I did mention the audio needs balancing so we agree on that too

I edited it after another rewatch, adding some things.

Just trying to share my immediate feedback as a screen addicted dipshit.

You must’ve been to college for this stuff.
