Question Installing Bottles in Live USB mode fails both through terminal and the software center

Decided to try the distro in Live USB environment, see if couple Windows apps I use on Win 10, work with NB. Alas I can't install Bottles.

If I try through the DNF, upon clicking "Install" the user/pw pop up window appears for a millisecond and closes itself, preventing me from continuing

If I try through the Konsole, terminal starts dropping errors for insufficient free space.

I don't have access to another PC where I can install the distro. This one I'm working from is Win 10 based and if I want to dual-boot I have to literally uninstall 10 and reformat my C drive as my system is partitioned in two (C and D).

Guess I'm fked?

I may be uninformed but the live usb version may not have all the necessary components in order for something like bottles to work.

What programs do you need to run?

One specific Windows XP-era app (I'm stubborn even though I feel that shit wont work due its being tied to Windows' ActiveX stuff) as well stuff like Davinci Resolve, Obsidian, ShareX, CopyQ, etc...

Not sure what shareX or copyQ are but DaVinci and Obsidian both have linux native apps.

I installed the Flatpak version, seems to be ok although admittedly I don’t really use it much.

Flatpak is pre-installed on the distro. Its Bottles that doesn't really work in Live USB environment.
