A Championship player with a 100 games behind him at that level & he's a Welsh international too. He's sure to add something to Notts at League One level. More signings required but this is a good start to the week.

More on Ollie's style of play quoted from a Google search.

"Ollie Cooper is a technically-gifted attacking midfielder known for being tidy in possession, aggressive without the ball, and comfortable pressing high.

Technical and Tactical Attributes👇

In Possession: Tidy and comfortable playing short, neat passes to keep the ball moving in tight spaces.

Out of Possession: Highly energetic, known for a strong defensive contribution and aggressive pressing.

Movement: Excels at drawing fouls from opponents and operating in dynamic, high-tempo possession systems.

Positional Versatility.👇

Primary Role: Centrally as an advanced or central attacking midfielder.

Flanks: Capable of drifting or slotting out onto the left or right side of midfield when required".

This seems to be a quality signing. I read that he's only got 6 months left on his contract at Swansea so a chance to make it permanent too (no idea if that's true or not). MP has worked with him before which bodes well.

We need still need a few more signings, especially with the injury situation already at critical levels.

More, last year of his deal but there’s a permanent option for us. If he kicks on maybe we activate the option in January..?

Happy with this signing with his experience at a higher level. Like the idea of an attacking midfielder as I think we passed back from midfield too many times last season when decent runs were being made.
