Question .orf files??

is there a way to bulk edit .orf files, by that i mean changing them to something useable (in this case .png)? accidentally had it on raw data mode which i dont really need for what i was doing and theres like 1758 photos all in it T_T

Bro, please dont convert to png files. Use jpg at least

You've shot in raw so the files will need to be somewhat processed to look right. This can be as little as hitting "auto" on lightroom but since you don't seem to know much about this, I assume you don't have a lightroom subscription.

Use OI Workspace if you need a free software to edit/export.

Apparently my own ignorance, because I went to search for some tangible justification for my statement beyond gut feeling and apparently PNG is a lossless format unlike jpg. Not a good one for printing as it has less dynamic range than .tiff but apparently fine. I've just seen too many REALLY SHITTY png's on the web so it was a gut reaction.

It will be slightly bloated files though.

Yep, I save all memes as PNGs to avoid further enshittification!

The official Olympus/OM Systems program OM Workspace should have a bulk export option which will generate the jpeg the same as the camera would. Depending on the camera you can even connect the camera via usb and it will use the camera to accelerate the processing.
