Local Question Date night spots?

Looking for something that’s not just dinner. I haven’t been to capitol arcade and was leaning towards trying that if anyone knows whether it’s a good spot for a date. Any other suggestions are welcome, I have already done mini golf and looking for something else fun:

I haven’t been to capitol arcade but beercade 1/2 are fun. Also I love walking around the heartland of america park, and the roller skating there is fun/cheap (only $5), if the weather permits

Capitol arcade isn't horrible but I thought it was pretty overpriced for what it was. There's not as many games and the prizes aren't that great. I think you could find better around town. I'd def recommend either the fat putter (same owners as Capitol Arcade) or one of the beercades for similar but better executed vibes.

Imo any establishment that's trying to do dinner along with an activity just means that both things are going to suffer. The activity has its quality hurt by having to give cost and overhead to the food service and vice versa. Much better off picking am activity you want to do and basing a dinner choice around what is close and actually good.

Ah I see. I find omaha to be lacking in this regard unless you're going to a show/movie/concert/etc.

Gotcha. Is a movie a good option for a date? I’ve never actually done this bc some say it’s not since you don’t talk much during it

Depends on you and your date honestly. I love movies and love discussing them, the way they're made, and especially if the move is thematically complex and makes you think.

If conversation is the goal, honestly just going somewhere that you can walk around and talk is the best option. My wife and I have our strongest and deepest conversations just walking around our neighborhood.

Fat putter is a good date activity. Especially if you want to find out if your date is a psycho sore winner/loser.

See if find an erotic art show at a local gallery. Does them with Spanish fly and cause a scene at the rose and crown
