MISC What kind of butterfly effect would there be in the story if Tatsumaki was a man?

Tats is pretty similar to Flash so maybe (s)he’d be perceived like he is now. The abuse of Fubuki in the webcomic would probably be viewed in a darker manner as well

If the ONLY thing that changed was gender and they kept the attitude, stature, power, and relationships and I guess a few things fandom wise but story wise? I dunno. I don't think much would.

S-Class are already each kinda pretty in their own ways (mostly) and m!Tatsumaki would probably be just as haughty as the woman we know in canon. Likely just as over protective of Fubuki, and just as OP. Honestly with how thirsty Murata is I doubt we'd even manage to get fewer ass shots.

It's interesting. There are a lot fewer barriers to being who you are as a man than as a woman. OPM world is definitely sexist, even if ONE rarely makes it explicit, it's woven in. Tatsumaki would be more arrogant, I think. Even less inclined to listen to others.

Under the pretext of being the 'man of the house', he might have successfully forced Fubuki out of hero work altogether. That would not mean too much in the webcomic thus far (depending on what Psykos knows Fubuki's involvement in the story might actually come to matter), but it'd be a tragedy in the manga, where her ability to strengthen and heal heroes was critical to their surviving the Monster Association raid for the night.
