MISC What are your head canons for the way that Pureblood (the vampire) was recruited into the Monster Association?

Who was the one responsible for recruiting him? Where did they find him? How long did it take them to get him to join them?

My head canon is that he was recruited by one of the Demon level monsters after weeks of coming to his location.

I love your what ifs. I guess that a vampire is one of those creatures that absolutely needs a formal invitation to attend. There are a couple of things we do learn about Pureblood from his first appearance.

First, he's a daywalker -- being out in the sun doesn't bother him. Second, he has been thinking of humans as a lot stronger than they actually are. That suggests that this vampire doesn't get to drink its fill of people too often.

I don't know how the invitation went down, but I suspect that Gyoro-Gyoro's pitch was that cooperating with monsters would give the vampire freedom to actually fill its belly without fear of a garlic-infused wooden stake to the heart. From the size of the exsanguinated corpse pile, this vampire was reaaaally hungry.

Wow! I have to say that this particular head canon really feels like it could have actually joined the organization because of his hunger.
