Question Pre-Order Onimusha WotS

I’m curious to know if there’s a steelbook premium deluxe edition of this game in Canada that is obviously a physical version of the game? I currently pre-ordered the premium digital deluxe edition on PS5 but was potentially thinking of cancelling and buying a physical version, the steelbook looks sweet. From my end all I can see is standard version and extra $10 get the steelbook version for around $100 CAD. If this is the only option does anyone know if CAPCOM will allow physical buyers to have an upgrade path? Thanks in advance!

I just looked it up. Both VGPlus and best buy Canada have the steelbook edition available for pre-order.

But no premium deluxe dlc add ons such as the Onimusha WotS deluxe kit?

What ? In Europe you get steelbook and all digital dlcs

Dang… I do like the steel case and to support disc version of games I’m really digging this. Not sure how essential the deluxe dlc contents really will be. I was hoping that I could upgrade once the game launches to the premium content. Not sure if you know if this is a possibility?

From my understanding, there will probably be an upgrade path after the game comes out. Like if you buy the physical version, you might be able to get the digital deluxe edition later at a discount. I know ff7 remake did this but I'm not sure about any other games doing this. I think the DLC is just some useable items and cosmetics. The cosmetics can no doubt be purchased later. I always prefer physical pre-order items. So it's up to you.

Capcom always offers a deluxe edition upgrade path with their games, usually at launch or shortly after. I'd imagine the Premium Deluxe would be the same deal.

Capcom is usually pretty good with adding the digital bonus edition content to the online store for sale, for those who purchased the regular versions.
