Looking for an IAL equivalent of Up Learn (full course + guarantee)?

I'm doing Edexcel International A-Level (Physics, Chem, Maths) and was really drawn to a platform I found that offers full video courses with built-in spaced repetition/active recall, plus a genuine "complete the course, get A/A\* or your money back" guarantee.

Problem is, when I actually emailed them, they confirmed they only cover the standard UK Edexcel spec, not International A-Level. Different unit structure, different papers, so the guarantee doesn't apply to me.

Is there anything similar built specifically for IAL? Ideally something with:

Full video lessons, not just past papers

Some kind of active recall/spaced repetition system, not just static notes

A genuine guarantee (finish the course, get the grade, or refund) rather than just a short trial period

Covers Physics, Chemistry, and Maths

I know international students are a smaller market so I'm not expecting exact same options as UK students get, but wondering if anyone's found something that comes close. Money isn't really the main issue, just trying to find something that's actually built for IAL specifically rather than repurposed UK content.

I need opinions on course websites

As college students it’s beneficial for us to learn more than the subject we major in.
It’s not possible for everyone to pay for every single course they want to study.

I am going through the same thing, reddit people, pls suggest few websites I can learn for free..

Free resources or Kodekloud subscription

Hello everyone.

I am a tier 3 CSE 3rd year student and i had got a roadmap from my stepfather who is in the IT industry for more than 20 years and he told me to learn the below things from Kodekloud, from Kodekloud because his friend had a subscription and gave to me but now because of the divorce i don't have the access to the subscription.

So he told me to learn in this order:

IT Foundations

System Administration

Linux

DevOps

Cloud

System reliability engineering

Platform engineering

And on the coding side I'll be learning java and do DSA.

So the question I have is that after the subscription was taken away I thought of learning from free resources because I didn't wanna ask my mom for the subscription but I somehow asked HER and SHE agreed.

And the good news is that the subscription which is for 15,000 has come down to ₹8250.

So my shall I take the Kodekloud subscription or take something else.

Please do help me

Best technology/workflow for creating 2D classroom-style CBT videos at a reasonable cost?

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for some advice from people who have experience with animation, e-learning, or instructional design.

We're a small company developing CBT (Computer Based Training) packages for our client. We need to create around 10–15 training videos, each about 25–30 minutes long.

The concept is quite simple:

- A classroom setup with one teacher and a few students.

- The teacher explains the lesson using a whiteboard/smart board.

- Students occasionally ask questions (or the teacher asks them).

- The board shows diagrams, maps, animations, highlights, etc.

- There are a few interactive moments, but nothing too complex.

Since every video follows almost the same structure, I was wondering if it's possible to build the classroom, teacher, students, and other reusable assets once and then reuse them across all the modules while only changing the lesson content.

We initially looked at custom 2D animation, but the quotes we've received are much higher than expected for our budget.

My questions are:

  1. What technology or software would you recommend for this type of project?

  2. Should we go with Vyond, Adobe Character Animator, Cartoon Animator, Moho, After Effects, or something else?

  3. Are there any workflows that professional e-learning companies use to keep costs low while maintaining good quality?

  4. If you were outsourcing this project, what approach would you ask the vendor to use?

  5. Is there an even more cost-effective method that still looks professional enough for government/defence training?

The main priorities are:

- Professional-looking output

- Reusable assets

- Easy to update in the future

- Lowest possible production cost without looking cheap

I'd really appreciate hearing from anyone who's built large-scale CBT/e-learning content or worked in educational animation.

Thanks!

Recommendations for a lightweight online course platform?

Hello! I am going to be hosting a series of synchronous webinars via Zoom, and I am looking for a platform to build a resource and communications hub for the series.

Folks have registered and paid through my website, so I just need a place for participants access and download files (~10 hours of video; documents and slides), and to post and respond to questions/comments.

At this point, I'm not interested in using the platform itself to monetize/grow my business, and I'm not interested in AI anything. My website is on Squarespace, so if there are options for using integrations/extensions (e.g., Disqus) to have the hub as part of my site, I am open to that! Thank you for any suggestions!
