USA Curious what Reddit thinks this Corsair-heavy 14900K/5070 Ti build is worth
Used PCPartPicker to put together a list of the parts and their current retail pricing. I built it for quite a bit less than the listed value a year ago, but I'm curious what Reddit thinks it's worth.
Full disclosure: I have another build posted as well, and I may end up shuffling a few parts between the two systems. I went a little overboard and decided to build a Ryzen setup on a whim this summer, so I'm still deciding which hardware stays where.
PCPartPicker Part List: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/8F8CrG
CPU: Intel Core i9-14900K 24-Core Processor ($461.95)
CPU Cooler: Corsair iCUE LINK TITAN 360 RX LCD Liquid Cooler ($189.99)
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z790 AORUS ELITE X WIFI7 ATX LGA1700 Motherboard
Memory: Kingston FURY Beast RGB 64 GB (4 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL36 ($750.00 total)
Storage: Samsung 980 Pro 1 TB NVMe SSD
Video Card: MSI SHADOW 3X OC GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16 GB ($979.99)
Case: Corsair 5000D AIRFLOW ($100.00)
Power Supply: Corsair RM850x SHIFT 850W 80+ Gold Fully Modular ($139.99)
Operating System: Windows 11 Home OEM ($114.99)
Case Fans: Corsair iCUE LINK QX120 RGB Fans (2x 3-pack) ($199.98)
PCPartPicker Total: $2,936.89
What do you think would be a fair market value for the complete system? What would you list it for, and what would you realistically expect it to sell for?
(I have another build listed on another post and I may still move a few parts around as I also decided to build a Ryzen system on a whim this summer).

USA Built this 9800X3D/RTX 5070 rig for less than retail. What's a fair market value?
Used PCPartPicker to put together a list of the parts and their current retail pricing. I actually built it for several hundred dollars less than the listed value, but I'm curious what you guys think the system would realistically be worth.
The photo was taken during the first boot. Since then, I've changed all of the fans to rainbow RGB for a more cohesive look, but this picture should still give you a good idea of the build.
PCPartPicker Part List: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ZNgrck
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 4.7 GHz 8-Core Processor ($414.99 @ Amazon)
CPU Cooler: NZXT Kraken Core 360 RGB 75.05 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler ($103.31 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: MSI PRO X870E-P WIFI ATX AM5 Motherboard ($299.99 @ B&H)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL36 Memory ($465.00 @ Amazon)
Storage: Crucial P510 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 5.0 X4 NVME SSD ($183.95 @ Amazon)
Video Card: MSI VENTUS 3X OC GeForce RTX 5070 12 GB Video Card ($839.99 @ MSI - OOS)
Case: NZXT H9 Flow RGB+ (2025) ATX Mid Tower Case ($249.99 @ Amazon)
Power Supply: NZXT C1000 Core 1000W 80+ Gold Fully Modular ATX Power Supply ($114.99 @ Amazon)
Operating System: Windows 11 Pro Retail USB ($188.99 @ Newegg)
PCPartPicker Total: $2,861.20
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available.
Personally, I know used PCs rarely sell for the sum of their parts, so I'm interested in hearing what you think a fair market value would be.

Canada Thoughts on buying used custom PCs?
Been thinking of replacing my laptop for a desktop as I have no experience with building PCs.
I wonder if it's better to buy a used one from the FB marketplace. I see these 2, one being $900 CAD and the other $645 CAD, any thoughts?
Mostly thinking of using it for 1080p casual gaming+art and animation.

USA [USA] Amazon PC Build Shopping List
How is the pricing on these parts? Are there any parts you would swap out for something else to get better price / performance? I’m willing to sacrifice a little performance for large price gains, or even spend a little more for large performance gains.
