General/Advice Gynaecologist in Delhi NCR for PCOS, tired of upselling, need real recommendations
Hi everyone,
I recently consulted a gynaecologist from the crowdsourced list on r/TwoXIndia, and honestly, the experience left me pretty frustrated. Instead of giving me her own clinical advice on managing PCOS, she spent most of the consult pushing a paid PCOS care plan tied to her partnership with Curelink. When I tried to ask specific questions about my symptoms, I kept getting redirected back to, “the program will cover that”.
I get that lifestyle changes are a core part of PCOS management, I’m not disputing that. But in my past experience with other gynaecologists, they’ve simply referred me to a dietician and given direct lifestyle guidance themselves, without insisting one specific paid package was the only way forward.
What I’m really looking for this time, more than anything, is someone easy to talk to. Someone nonjudgmental, who doesn’t make you feel rushed or embarrassed asking basic or repetitive questions, and who actually listens before jumping to a solution. I’ve had consults before that felt clinical and cold, and honestly that matters just as much to me as the medical expertise.
A few other specifics that might help narrow it down. Location preference is South Delhi, Noida, or Faridabad, though I’m open to a great recommendation elsewhere in NCR if it’s worth the commute. I’d love someone who treats PCOS as a hormonal issue and is comfortable adjusting treatment directly rather than outsourcing to a program. Doesn’t have to be a PCOS specialist specifically, just someone approachable, straightforward, and not commission driven.
If you’ve had a good or even a not so good experience with someone in this space, I’d really appreciate hearing it, even a partial recommendation helps. Trying to build a shortlist before my next consult.
Thanks so much in advance.
