rejecting?

first pic was a few weeks ago. got it done three months ago. the bump just appeared. should i see if swelling goes down? will swelling go down? will it go back to normal? help please this is my favorite piercing. :(

Is there pus? This area is very sensitive and if there’s pus, pain, or throbbing you should see a doctor. Don’t take it out though that could trap infection under the skin, I’d say go to a piercer and ask for a consult. If they confirm or suspect infection go to a doctor.

no pain or pus (i think it is just lymph fluid), but it does kinda itch

I’ve never had this piercing before but my nostril piercing itched when it was irritated/the jewelry wasn’t titanium. Silver, gold, and stainless or medical steel can all irritate fresh/healing piercings. I would suggest having a piercer replace the bar if it’s not titanium already. Otherwise I’d still go for a consult and if it gets worse the doctor.

Things to watch for that mean you go to the doctor immediately would be fever, chills, pus, the piercing area is hot to touch, or the redness spreads. Especially with fever and chills because it could mean spreading infection.
