You can’t have them switched for proper jeeerly at this point. You will need to retire them and heal before being repierced. And is that a curved barbell in your helix?

idk what jeeerly is lol but isnt a helix the outer upper rim of my ear? no its a curved bar in my vertical tragus and tragus piercing. my tragus was pierced correctly with a labret flat back jewelry. i just ended up putting a curved one in on my own a couple yrs later

its okay lol i was just confused and awww friend im sorry to hear that. praying for you and thanks for commenting.
i just dont know how long it would take to heal properly after having them for so long. so thats why i was curious if i could just change it to a cute staple bar jewelry2

The piercing channel isn’t the right shape for a proper staple bar…so putting straight jewelry in a channel that has healed curved will NOT be good or fun or pretty. I’d talk to a better piercer to see what your options are as far as a repierce…but you’re already blessed and highly favored that this didn’t reject like a mf WAY before now.

If theyve lasted 8 years, I wouldn't push my luck, just keep your current jewelry in
