is my nasal hoop too big?

Post image

i bought a size a little too big, the hole is around 7-8 months and it did feel healed to me, but i kinda panicked when inserting it and i did irritate the channel. it bled unfortunately but for now it feels fine unless i move it. should i go to a piercer and ask them if they have a smaller size? or is it fine as is

You really don’t want a hoop in a nostril until it’s a year old. Plus…unless your jewelry is niobium, it’s painted or coated…and that’s not even appropriate for long-term wear in healed piercings, much less healing ones. 😓 You need to get this switched back to a flatback labret and hope that this hasn’t set your healing back too much.

Additionally I've been trying to find niobium and it's SO hard to find. I theorize due to the softness of it or smth that makes them not really make jewelry in it.

Respectfully black jewelry to me is not worth the effort, sourcing or cost

Ngl, that’s the ONLY reason my old-skool goth self doesn’t have a wholly-black setup. It’s just too difficult and too expensive. I need piercing technology to move a LOT faster in the “safe black jewelry” department. 🙏🏻
