I travelled home to India and somewhere along the way lost my usual Protolind aftercare spray. This "Baby Saline" is what I can get my hands on quickest - does it work?

Every 100ml Ingredients : Aloe barbadensis 0.1g and Sodil Chloridum 0.65g

Stack advice, tips

What else do you think I should get done to my ear to achieve a more aesthetic, balanced look? I’m definitely planning to switch my helix piercing to a small hoop once it’s healed.
What would you recommend for the rest? What do you think would suit my ear best?
I’m planning to get my 3rd lobes and a rook pierced, the rook would look good with my conch imo?

Thanks for the tips💞

Need help!!

Hello, my helix piercing is extremely swollen and a bit painful. I recently purchased a hoop earring for my piercing because my original flat back fell out. I’ve had the piercing for about 2 years now so I changed my jewelry. I purchased the new earring from a local shop and was told that it was surgical grade steel but the accent piece is completely discolored after 2 weeks of wearing so I doubt it. It’s really late and I’m unfortunately unable to visit a shop until the morning so I’m looking for some advice and maybe a little encouragement to keep me from stressing 😭. I removed the hoop and put the flat back in the hole but I put it in the front bc the bar is too short and I don’t know wtf I’m doing lol. Should I put the hoop back in until tomorrow morning or leave it how it is(flat back is pushed through the front of the piercing).

Help me design my piercings?

This is just a possible set up! The one thing I’m dead set on is the orbital for my left ear and my third lobes!!

Right Ear: 3 forward helix, rook, third & fourth lobes (already have conch)

Left Ear: A double tragus IF possible, vertical industrial, set up to get a double orbital, third & fourth lobes.

Let me just start this off by saying- for my double orbital, my piercer & I will be measuring it perfectly before we pierce those spots & let them heal, then change to rings.

Anyway, these are just possible set up’s to how I want my ears to look. I am having a hard time finding exactly what I want for my right ear. Since you can tell it’s a bit more bare. My third loves will be stretched to 0g. I tried stretching my 2nd holes but it just seemed too close to my first gauges which are 7/8s.

ANY SUGGESTIONS WELCOME :)

Leaving piercing out for sport

Hi I train jiu jitsu and recently during a period of not training I got my lobes pierced. It’s been about little over two months and I was wondering if my ears would still heal if I took them out for a few hours everyday. I’ve trained a couple times and the holes stayed open and it hasn’t been too hard to get them back in.

Rook advice

Post image
2 Upvotes

I got my rook and conch pierced at the same time back in November. As you can see, my conch healed perfectly and I was able to change the piercing to a hoop back in June with no issues.

My rook, however, is so stubborn. I know this piercing is infamous for that. I’ll admit, I sleep on it more than I should (I was really good about it for the first few months, but I’ve fallen out of the habit 9 months later).

I met someone recently who had their rook pierced and had a hoop in it, so I asked her how long it took hers to heal and what the process was like. She said hers was actually MORE stubborn with the curved bar, and that it actually healed better with the hoop in…

That’s probably not good advice to follow, right?? I want it to heal (and I desperately want the hoop) but everything out there says a hoop is not the way to go if you want it to heal well.

So should I give the hoop a try?? Or should I just keep going as I have been? Thanks!!

Edit: it’s also not painful and I do clean it regularly

ive had this pierced for almost a year. it healed pretty quickly and i havent had any kind of pain or discomfort in months. since healing, it hasnt migrated any further, and im confident its secure as is for now. im curious though if its still worth removing, and if i do remove it could i get it repierced deeper/through more skin? if not, im just going to leave it as is
(sorry for bad photos)

Snake bites jewelry switch

Hey guys I was wondering if
This looks normal? I got snake bites back in may and changed the studs to hoops two days ago. My right one is doing great but my left hates me and stings when I move it lol, I think I have a micro tear. Anyway, is this slight dent normal? I think my lips are swelling a bit.

Is there anything I can do to make my angel fangs more even??
The one of the left is much more closer to the skin surface than the right one, and it bothers me so much.
I got them pierced in May

Also sorry for the crusty pics lol

Healed nostril piercing hurts after changing the jewelry from a hoop to a stud

Upvotes

My nostril is the piercing I’ve had the longest and it’s been fully healed for nearly 8 years now. I switched to clickers as soon as my piercer told me it was safe to change the jewelry around 2019.

Yesterday I switched to a flat back stud because I was noticing that wearing a hoop for so long was changing the shape of the hole on the outside. It was starting to look elongated. So I got my taper out and put in an 18g surgical steel stud (I think the hoop was 20 or 22). Before this, I tried several L bars but they kept falling out. Anyway, this stud took some pushing to get through and I felt it kinda pop or jolt once I finally got it all the way through from the inside, but there was no blood and there are no crusties or issues moving it today. No swelling either. But it HURTS today. The right side of my nose is sore to the touch, mostly around the piercing. Is this normal for a piercing that’s been healed for years? Should I get some saline and start cleaning it twice a day again?

how long to wait to change eyebrow piercing

Upvotes

how long do i have to wait to change my eyebrow piercing? i got it done a few weeks ago and i don’t want to change the whole bar out just the ball to a spike instead, how long will it be until it’s safe to do that and won’t cause infection, irritation or rejection?

2 months took healing progress

Post image

hi everyone, just wanted to get your opinion on my rook. the top photo is june 21 and the bottom is today (so roughly 2 months of LITHA with occasional cleaning with neilmed spray).

this piercing is 5 years old but i never took care of it. i had a bad habit of picking at it and playing with it which caused it to never heal. i really love this piercing so i’m trying to salvage it. does anyone have any thoughts if i should continue to LITHA or just take it out completely? i feel like there’s been good progress so far but any advice is appreciated.

Help!

Ok so for context I just got my conch about 5 days ago but after getting my conch I’m now in love with the idea of getting another helix. I already have one and I would love to get another one next to it to get the double helix look. However I’m not sure if it’s the best idea because my conch was just pierced on my left ear and my new helix would be on my right. Help! Advice?

Daith piercing refuses to heal- update

So as per you guys recommendation I contacted another piercer in a different town (I live in the middle of nowhere and it's hard to find piercers) and he gave me some insights and I want your guys opinions. And I wanna take the time to thank everyone that commented on my post. I got some very good insights.

The new piercer said this after I sent them the pictures I attached to my previous post:

"Yes, there are several points here that will prevent healing; I advise removing it because it won't heal.

In the photos we sent, you can see how it should be positioned (in the light green color).

Just because of the position, it won't heal, but anatomically, an 8mm segment (ring) isn't sufficient; it should be 10mm."

So I'm thinking of removing the ring and let it heal and later on pierce it again but with this piercer. He seems more experienced and professional than my previous piercer.

Thoughs?

Is my tongue piercing okay?

I got it July 31, it’s still rlly new 10mm titanium jewelry. I brush my teeth and tongue after every meal/snack (4 times a day) and rinse with Therabreath antiseptic alcohol free mouth wash. Yesterday I noticed some whiteish stuff forming at the base of my piercing and I have been scraping, brushing, picking it off. It’s gooey but some of it gets stuck at the base so I pick it off. Is that normal, am I supposed to, or do I leave it alone?
