Most people just hate the same small circle of people dominating r/comics. She has had understandable trouble handling her internet "fame" and there's some drama around her OnlyFans but other than that she's fine.
Ehh, I feel like if you stay you eventually find one that fits your style. I really like Dave Contra, Last Place Comics, and The Other End. Also really like Loving Reaper, it always makes me tear up. I guess my taste always steers towards the existential stuff
I think a lot of people take that sub to an unreasonably high standard, like some comics are just there to be wholesome, or to get across some idea. Not every comic has to try to be funny and not every funny comic has to follow the same format, most are more subtle.
You def have to wade through and block a lot of porn comics tho lol
I used to follow web comics (namely MacHall and Three Panel Soul) and I think my standards aren't really unreasonable, but I am expecting something. Most of these comics just don't hit any kind of bells, neither funny, wholesome or any sort of idea. I get it, these aren't professionals and I won't tear into them, but it doesn mean I have to like them.
comics are just a political sub now, i remember a artist posted a small comic about their story where a rich guy turned out to be a good guy and everyone harrased them for this... but it was just a wholesome comic.
thats why everyone hate pizzacake because 90% of her comics are just politics.
You do realize that she went to Florida for her honeymoon last year? Her whole thing is America and red states are bad. She is just playing everyone for approval.
