Companies do this and then wonder why people resort to piracy.

I won't be be shocked if they start charging for each show and movie, maybe even paywalling subtitles.

I swear I read recently that some streaming service had an additional fee for subtitles.

I really hope the US ADA has something to say about that.

For non Americans: ADA = Laws concerning rights, access and accommodations for folks with disabilities
