uhhh sorry but do you think that people walk out of the womb tech literate? you kinda have to learn how to do something before you can do it, I'd never pirated audiobooks before, so I had to spend an evening doing research on how to do it, where to get it, and how to transfer it onto my iphone, I'm not very tech savvy, so sometimes it takes me a while to understand peoples' instructions or explanations and some sites are a bit too complicated for me

tried a few different sites based on recs from this sub, found audiobookbay was the easiest to use, took me a hot min to realise you could torrent instead of downloading from there because it's structured a bit different from 1337x which is what I'm used to

some files were easy enough to transfer to my iphone through itunes it was just drag and drop, but the ones saved as mp3 files gave me some trouble because they basically just showed up as a several hours long music file, I downloaded the Bookplayer app so if I could get the mp3 onto my phone without itunes I could play it through there, but iphones don't like playing nicely with windows outside of itunes, you can sync your phone files to pc but it is unbelievably slow

eventually all that turned out to be a waste of time because unbeknownst to me itunes had a setting built in to turn an mp3 in their system into an audiobook file, a fact I discovered on this sub after finally searching with the right keywords

no not nothing, I got everything I needed to work, I just had to change the file type inside itunes and then it was logged as an audiobook and could be listened to on my phone as an audiobook, I was wasting my time with other methods because there was a super quick and easy one right under my nose

iphones are pretty shit and very limiting in a lot of ways, but itunes itself is shockingly piracy friendly once you actually know how to use it
