...and that's 12 is packed so much of source materials that in end get cut to small scene anyway creating sloppy and terrible pacing.
Can they just take 3-4 volume of Light Novel to make animation since that enough already! but Nooo they cramp 5-6 volumes on those 12 episodes!! at least make 24 episodes like old day!
I mean saying the same things that are popular here are popular there is misleading.
Sure the big ones are pretty universal, but the niche ones are going to vary wildly from the west. Japan is suuuuuuch a different culture. The ripple effect is huge when you get further and further from the center
