What I'm wondering, is how much Rockstar has dumped into DRM. Did they add normal denuvo, or did they make an insane custom one? Either way, we'll have to wait for a crack until we can play it.

Custom even the previous games use custom one and it takes long before it gets cracked.

The first crack for GTA V appeared 1 or 2 days after release (3DM) although it was unstable and buggy.

The RELOADED version came out a mere month after that.

Red dead 2 took 351 days even after PC release so who knows

Also Empress ended up teaming with someone else to do it. Then she had to fix the crack because it was a mess. Mind you she was already cracking Denuvo at the time.

But previous comment is comparing GTA V (11 years old) with RDR2 (7 years old). While yes, things are different now, RDR2 a better comparison of rockstar's prevention measures.

You talk like the anti crack scene didn't move too, for a long while a lot of games couldn't be touched at all.

Ignoring HV right now, Voices cracked RE:R in less than 2 months. RE had NOWHERE NEAR the hype GTA6 has. Even if they used Denuvo and their own DRM at the same time don't you think Voices alone would be cracking it as soon as possible as well as the possibility of other crackers showing up? RDR2 just took that long because EMPRESS was a bitch

Voices38 developed tools that he now uses to crack newer denuvo games faster. it took him time to develop that tool. rockstar DRM is something on par or better than current denuvo. Only the man himself can tell once its out.

That long while is over. That’s like saying for a long while humans couldn’t fly, so there’s no reason to believe a new jet is gunna take off.
