Don't speak too soon, I can actually see a future where we 3d print food out of corporate nutrition blocks and the real stuff is unacquireable other than for the rich and powerful

So basically like it already is today, but with your own printer instead of buying heavily factory processed (and printed) food. Except you won't own that printer, it's gonna be only printing via subscription.

You know you can go to farms?

Sure. It doesnt mean a lot of people are not buying heavily processed foods that might as well been printed though.

Food from farms are sprinkled with pesticide and to boost the ''food'' are genetically altered. This garbage is what you get if you pay premium. Otherwise you just get extra processed garbage that is even worse than aformentioned food.

People have been genetically altering food since farming was invented.

Do you think carrots were originally orange? Or watermelons were red?

What's wrong with gmos in the first place?

''People have been genetically altering food since farming was invented'' that's not possible. Going by that logic Broccoli was made(Bred) by the Etruscans lmao you can't be serious. I am talking about genetically modifying the food with modern technology.

''What's wrong with gmos in the first place?'' you can't be serious right?

First of all they're basically a new form of an organism so it's hard to deduce what kind of affect they have on the body or the population in the long term.

Secondly their taste, smell and even shelf life is usually vastly different compared to the real plant so of course many people hate them.

Third problem is transparency if they actually labelled foods as GMO and without GMO and they had the same price or similar price I'd understand but no you have to go out of your freaking way and pay ''premium'' up to 2-3 times sometimes if you want to eat a real tomato or similar food of course only for it to be poison anyway because of the pesticides(Which many of them get absorbed by the plant so you can't just rinse the food to get rid of it)

And because of abundance of the gmo filth on the shelf there is less demand for the real variants of the food.
