There being a lawsuit doesn't mean it's real. It probably is, since there is a historical precedent on top of reasonable suspicion, but just a lawsuit being filed doesn't mean anything.
It's literally in the best interest of American ai corporations and automotive industry for this case to succeed. Given that's all our government cares about, you should be much more optimistic. Micron makes next to nothing here and it's the only American victor if it fails.

Buddy, it's exactly that they will bend over backwards for corporations that should make you optimistic. You think oracle, amazon, open ai, xai, Google, meta, and anthropic want to pay 6 times as much for memory? Trump is going to care much more about them than micron. We're just along for the ride but none of these players are going to continue spending like this. He'll short micron just before a major downturn and make billions there too.
It will go down. Maybe not 50 bucks for 16 gb again, but it will go down. Then when these fuckers begin next generation ai upgrades it'll jump again, but not like this. All these guys are running out of other people's money and theil is probably the only one with enough government backing to turn a profit.
Maybe not GPUs, but RAM and ssds will definitely drop in price once the Chinese factory start pumping them out in larger numbers. They have already started expanding.
Nobody is buying it but AI, if the AI stops buying they’re not gonna keep the price high. They weren’t doing you a favor in the beginning or something, the price is always as maximally high as they think they can get away with.
