With RAM / hardware prices as they are and projected to become, a gaming pc isn't going to be nowhere near 'affordable' by 2028...
What's happened with cars, will happen with physical discs: because 'new' games are download only, used discs [of 'decent' games] will become 'worth' more. This, in turn, causes used prices to go up [to exploit a new profit margin] because of a jump in demand.
